London has 32 boroughs plus the City of London, and several hundred districts underneath them. We have written 55 area pages — one for each place where we can say something specific and true about doing business there.

Why not every area has a page

We could generate a page for every district in London tonight. It would be the same page several hundred times with one word changed, and it would not rank.

So the rule here is simple: a page exists when we can write something about doing business in that area that would be false if you swapped in a different place name. Where a place is better known by its borough — Richmond, Kingston, Croydon — there is one page rather than two competing for the same searches. And places outside Greater London are not listed as London, however close they feel.

If you work somewhere we have not covered, tell us — that is a better reason to write a page than a keyword tool is.
