Who we are

Digetize Ltd ("we", "us") is a digital agency operating in London. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

We collect very little, and only what we need.

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, and optionally your business name, phone number, website, the service you are interested in, your location, your budget range and your message.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type as part of delivering the page to you. This is necessary for the site to function and to protect it from abuse.

If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data about how the site is used. No analytics or marketing script loads until you have given that consent. See our cookie policy for detail.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests — you contacted us and expect a reply. If we go on to work together, the basis becomes performance of a contract.
• To keep the site working and secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in operating a functional, non-abused website.
• To understand how the site is used. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not use your enquiry to add you to a mailing list. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as we work together and then for six years afterwards, which is the period we need for tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider, typically no more than 14 months.

Who processes it on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions:

• Hosting and content delivery — to serve this website.
• Email delivery — to route enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
• Analytics — only where you have consented.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
• have inaccurate data corrected

• receive your data in a portable format

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Enquiry submissions are rate limited and screened for automated abuse. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to reply to you.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the ICO as required.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be communicated directly where we hold contact details for you.
