Website Redesign
Rebuild without losing what already works.
A redesign is riskier than a new build. You already have traffic, rankings and pages that earn work — and the standard redesign quietly destroys some of them.
We start every redesign with an audit of what is currently working: which pages bring in organic traffic, which convert, which have external links pointing at them. Those become constraints on the new design rather than casualties of it.
Then we address the actual problems — usually messaging, structure and speed rather than aesthetics.
Deliverables
- Current-site performance audit
- Content inventory and triage plan
- Full URL redirect map
- New design system and templates
- Front-end build and migration
- Launch checklist and monitoring
What we concentrate on.
Pre-redesign audit
Analytics, Search Console and link data reviewed to establish what must be preserved.
Redirect mapping
Every existing URL mapped to its replacement before launch, not after.
Content triage
Pages kept, merged, rewritten or removed based on performance rather than assumption.
Post-launch monitoring
Close monitoring of indexation, rankings and errors through the weeks after go-live.
Common questions
Will a redesign hurt my rankings?
It can, and often does when redirects and content decisions are handled carelessly. Done properly — preserving the URLs and pages that earn traffic, redirecting everything else, and keeping the content that ranks — a redesign should hold rankings and usually improves them, because speed and structure improve at the same time.
Can you redesign in stages?
Yes. For larger sites a phased approach often reduces risk: a new design system and key templates first, then the long tail. It takes longer overall but avoids a single high-stakes launch.
